It's a standard franchise spot.This particular franchise is near Sensōji temple. If you're REALLLLLLLY hankering for a cheap and reasonably tasty tempura meal, then I'd say go for it.There's nothing to write home about, and that's OK, since it's basically the McDonalds of tempura. The heart of don is affordability, speed, and tastiness and this place more or less hits those marks.They have an English menu, so don't be afraid to pop in.

Kind staffs. They tried their best to speak in English for me and my friends hahaha. Also they recommend their menu without pork here.Also if you can't use chopsticks, they ask you for using spoon instead without us tell them first

Nice Tempura at reasonable price. English menu was available. Ordered udon with the tempura which was also good.

Soba noodles your way (cold or in hot soup), generous tendon, and miso soup for an affordable price. There were three of us and we shared two set meals amongst ourselves simply for the amount of food. This was comfort food for what had been a cold, wet day and we ate in wonderment at how quick, filling, and delicious the food was for the price. Order via the counter, pick up your food after a few short minutes, and help yourself to cold or hot house tea. Remember to put your tray back once you're done enjoying your food!

Wonderful staff and excellent service. The tempura was a bit soggy from the sauce they put on it. The flavor was good but the texture was not crispy.

Solid tempura at a very reasonable price. I had the tempura & udon set meal. Fast service, left feeling full and satisfied, definitely recommended for a good lunch spot. Unlimited pickles too is a plus.

Great value if you are looking for a quick tempura meal in Asakusa. You get to choose your soba/noodles. Don't expect high quality though but you'll get what you pay for: decent tempura, well-cooked tempura and a great service staff. On the downside, avoid the tempura topping the rice, it gets soggy because of the steam!

Great tendon aka the tempura is superb, in a noodle based soup - you don't even need to get the set! Includes all you can eat pickles and all you can drink cold coffee. Great cafeteria feel with famous songs playing in midi style. Great for breakfast or with a beer for dinner. Chain so there are a few located around Japan.

We had our first tendon/ udon here and it was delicious. Small price, good quality.

Has an English menu but it's more like there is English on the menu. Although the staff doesn't really speak English, just do what the locals do and point it out on the menu or take a picture of what you want from the plastic display outside. I had a late night and they one of the rare eateries that are open (until 11pm). Ordered the tempura soba set which was delicious and a lot of food for the price.

The right place to enjoy tempura at Asakusa & Kaminarimon area. Just a reasonable price you can have a bowl of tempura (prawn, fish, squid and vegetable) with rice. With free choice and refill of hot and cold of roasted green tea, green tea and water. Cashier have a little bit English conversation but restaurant has English menu. Comfort restaurant with toilet inside.👍👍

Cheap tempura sets for a quick meal. Imagine a Yoshinoya (beef bowls) but tempura specialized. Do not expect 5 star quality taste nor crispiness at this price. Though perfectly satiating for a hungry traveller! Order at the counter, free tea/water self service refills.

I had a couple hours layover in Japan and while in Asakusa, I was looking for a place to eat with vegetarian options at an affordable price. From the moment I entered the staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the veggie tempura set with a small hot soba for 800yen. Very tasty and complementary self serve tea (got the roasted green tea).Easy, fast, tasty and cost effective! The manager / hostess was very helpful and welcoming. On my way out she thanked me, asked where I was from and opened the door out for me. Definitely recommend this place!

i really enjoyed this place overall. the prices are good and the quality is up there as well. good service and only about a 5-6 minute wait for my food. they also have an english menu if you ask, and the staff understand enough to make things enjoyable. i'd definitely go back.

Very tasty and very cheap. This isn’t the sort of place to go if you’re looking for unique Japanese decor that doesn’t feel like home, but it never promises such things. English menus are available, and though the staff struggled to converse with me (my fault - I’m the foreigner) they did everything they could to help and be hospitable. I had a filling meal and a draft beer and spent 1000¥ flat. More than worth it!

Great food for under ~1000 yen. I usually order the all star tendon which includes shrimp, squid and scallop tempura. They're not as fast as a gyudon place, but waiting time should be less than 15 minutes.

Fast food-like feel, but good place. The tempura vegetable was not my favorite.
